Frodo
He came to stay even before we started Dogs at Home, at our old house,when he was only weeks old and his owner had to go away to celebrate a family members special birthday.

He boarded many times with us,his special trait was to drag his bed into the garden, to lie in the sunshine.

​

I was honoured to be trusted with Frodo into his old age, sadly I had to be responsible for taking him on his last journey as his owners where away. His owner was a vet and when he became ill, he went back to his Vet friends and vet nurses and was lovingly put to sleep in the arms of his friends.

Sometimes this happens at dogs at home, my heart breaks as though I am losing one of my own dogs, but it is an honour all the same to have such trust from the owners.
