'Dogs at Home is the most caring service ever! Yvonne has looked after my border collie Taz since he was 6 months old, he is now nearly 15 and I would
not entrust him to anyone else.
Not only is she super professional
but the dogs come first and Yvonne
will always help you out
if you are stuck at work!
Taz adores both Yvonne and Simon
and so if he is happy I am happy.
That says everything, it really is a
home from home service… why look
anywhere else?'
'Yvonne has been helping us by visiting / feeding our cats when we've had to go away for work or pleasure since 2005. Her professionalism, integrity, trustworthiness
and the care she gives to the cats is explementary.
I would have no hesitation in
recommending Yvonne's cat
services either in the home
of the cats or her cattery.
More recently Yvonne has been
looking after our new addition -
a puppy. The way in which she
introduced the puppy to her
other dog day boarders was
sensitive and responsive to the
puppy's needs which has
created a great experience
for the puppy and helped her
confidence interacting with other dogs'.

my dogs in succession and it
was a real relief when she
started Dogs at Home because
Frodo was really stressed in
kennels but not in the cosy
home environment that she
provides. Wilbur has had his
holidays with Yvonne since he
was a pup and it really is home
from home; we go away happy
that he is being well cared for.

bed was in her favourite spot and of course, the occasional treats!

leaving her to go off on our

'My name is Dizzy and I am a Cocker Spaniel/Llasa Apso cross. I was
rescued three years ago by the
charity Spaniel Aid when I was
eight years old and came to live
near Yvonne.
When my owners go away I love
to have holidays with Yvonne with
Dogs at Home in Oakhanger.
I am very excited to see Yvonne
and both her own dogs and the
visitors like me. I always feel very
spoilt as the walks and all the cuddles
are wonderful. It is home from home

'My adorable chocolate Labrador
Bruno has been having play
days and sleepovers at Dogs
at Home for 9 years now and
I simply will not let him go
anywhere else. Whenever I
say to him that he’s going to
Mabel’s for a play day or
sleepover his tail wags with
excitement, so much so that
I dare not tell him anymore until
5 minutes before we leave
home because he drives me
mad! When he gets to Dogs at Home that tail is still wagging and he just loves the company that Yvonne and Simon provide, as well as their own dogs and the others visiting. I know he’s in safe hands at Dogs at Home, and I know he’s had a great time there because he comes home shattered, often sleeping for a full day afterwards!'
I cannot recommend Dogs at Home enough, once you place your precious pooch in their company believe me you will not try anywhere else.
'Dogs at Home is truly a ‘home from home’ for my dogs Roesti and Rakki,
and they could not be better looked
after and cared for. I have been
fortunate in using them for several
years for stays ranging from one night
to 3 weeks, and my dogs are always rather sad to leave Yvonne and Simon after their visit is over.
An outstanding home environment for any of our faithful friends, and all dogs are looked after with the same attention, and empathy, by Yvonne.
Our 15 year old Roesti developed
a nasty abscess during his last
visit, and our vet had nothing but
praise for the nursing treatment
he had received from Yvonne.
When Yvonne’s Mimi produced
5 pups in May 2019, we just had
to have one of them, a beautiful
red dachshund we named Rakki,
and he has proved a great addition
to our family with his gentle
temperament and adventurous
spirit reflecting perfectly the home
in which he had first opened
his eyes.'
Dogs at Home Cattery was highly recommended for the Sirs Timothy Titus Pounce-a-Lot & Thomas Henry Purr-a-Lott. They were made very welcome when we arrived for their first holiday. Both instantly showed approval and settled happily - unlike a previous experience elsewhere when on collection they clearley showed their
disapproval.
They received
such excellent
care and attention
at Dogs at Home
Cattery that they
didnt want to leave.
I know that timid
Timothy couldn’t
have been in better
hands when he
went alone and I think he got spoilt far more than usual. He is always happy when he arrives and is very contented when collected.
I highly recommend Dogs at Home Cattery to you... but... I just hope that you and your friends haven’t booked when I want to.
'Yvonne & Simon have looked
after our dogs, for over 12 years,
originally three poodles, Ollie,
Toby and Sophie, now just
Sophie, (Ollie & Toby had
long and happy lives).
They have always provided
the highest level of care and
attention to our animals, from
the daily walk accross the
common, to overnight stays
when we are away, leaving us
with the complete peace of mind,
that our animals are in great hands.
The ultimate compliment we can pay Yvonne & Simon is that they have treated our animals as though they were their own, Yvonne pointing out any changes in behaviour to be aware of, pre warning of any health issues.
Since Sophie has been on her own, she goes to Dogs at Home virtually every week day, and finds the walk with other dogs very enjoyable and stimulating, and is a happy healthy 14 year old!
We would have no hesitation in recommending Dogs at Home, a truly caring and professional service!'

‘Dogs at Home have provided our precious whippet with literally a ‘home from home’ for several years now! A friend suggested that we should try Yvonne and Simon Joslin and Dogs at Home when we were telling her one day how difficult we found it to leave our young and sensitive dog. We went to meet Yvonne and her wonderful
family of dachshunds and
havenever looked back.
When our whippet first visited
Yvonne, it quickly became
clearto us how incredibly
caring, loving and professional
she is and how much effort
she was prepared to put in to
winning the trust of our
slightly anxious
hound! Now, several years later,
he trots off happily and never looks back when we drop him off for the day.
We completely trust Yvonne and Simon and know that they will care for our dog, just as they care for theirs. In fact, it really is a home from home! We know that he is in the best possible hands and has a very lovely time, walking in the woods, socialising with his dachshund friends and meeting new ones when he visits. He always comes home relaxed and happy.
Yvonne was also kind enough to have my daughter’s cat to stay for a month of Christmas last year and the cat had a wonderful holiday, returning to her family in fabulous condition.
We are more than happy to completely recommend Dogs at Home and would never take our dog anywhere else.'

For Cleo – daily free-running dog walks in the woodland right next door, an array of toys, dog beds & hidey places as well as the lovely back garden that connects to the house, for me – peace of mind knowing she is in a safe & happy place whilst at all times in the care of extremely experienced dog aficionados. We’ve had
periods of high maintenance
care for Cleo, when I’ve
had to leave an assortment
of medications along with
the dog - and in most
cases Yvonne has known
more about the various
tablets than I have! Such

know the attention detail
is there and that Cleo is
